Employee reviews provide time for management and employees to co-evaluate individual performance, discuss details of the workplace environment, and exchange ideas. This gives managers a chance to highlight areas of strength and strategize toward improvements, as well as for employees to check in, ask questions, address concerns, and share personal goals. Employees will be reviewed according to following schedule:
One week check in: Manager and employee discuss initial fit and areas of strength, outline plans for areas of concern, and establish development goals or specific milestones to be met toward improvement. This is also a time for the employee to ask questions and share ideas. Additional training may be arranged if needed.
One month review: Manager and employee discuss overall performance and growth, outline plans and timeline for improvement, and share ideas for general workplace development. Please see review notes sheet for specific topics.
Six month review: Manager and employee discuss overall performance as above.
After 6 months, reviews will repeat every 6 months as outlined above. Both managers and employees may request additional reviews as needed.
Communication is the greatest tool through which we can develop a positive, satisfying, and efficient workplace. Please take advantage of these reviews as opportunities for both personal and workplace advancement and growth. To view the format and topics to be covered in your reviews, click here.
